Palestinian Professors and staff from Palestinian Institutions specialized in Telecommunications and Computer Networks (TCN) visited University of Salford (USAL) and other industries in UK.

In the first day of the study tour organized by USAL, the eSCO team started the knowledge transfer day by participating in a Distance and Online Learning Workshop about adopting courses to be offered through distance learning.

The eSCO team visited the Maker Space Experience Laboratory in Acton Square building. The Lab has been recently established to help university staff and students in transferring their ideas into product prototypes. The eSCO team travelled to EE/BT Warrington Switch, Warrington Cheshire on the second half of the day.

Finally, the eSCO team attended presentation offered by Siemens experts about MindSphere as an operating system platform for Internet of Things (IoT).

These visits took place between 9th and 11th of April 2019.

بهدف نقل المعرفة، قام الأساتذة الفلسطينيون وبتنظيم من جامعة سالفورد – بريطانيا  بزيارة مرافق ومختبرات الجامعة المختلفة والمتعلقة بالاتصالات وشبكات الحاسوب  وخدمات المدن الذكية، وكذلك زيارة شركات بالمدينة تساهم في خدمات المدن الذكية والاتصالات وشبكات الحاسوب. إضافة إلى زيارة مراكز أخرى والالتقاء بالخبراء هناك في مجال دعم خدمات المدن الذكية وفي مجال الاتصالات وشبكات الحاسوب. استمرت الزيارة لمدة ثلاثة أيام ما بين التاسع والحادي عشر من نيسان 2018 .
