The needs assessment meetings were held in the 2nd day of the kickoff meeting in the 3rd of April 2018 in Malaga. Ramallah Municipality (RM) has presented an analysis for the results of the survey that held for this purpose. Many discussions were held about deciding the PS society needs regarding smart cities operations, and the importance of the first survey results toward this. The final recommendation was to use the results of this survey to build a more focus survey in order to better decide the needs in PS society due to its importance in the coming phases of the project.

تم تخصيص مجموعة من الاجتماعات من ضمن حفل انطلاق المشروع المنعقد في ملجا – إسبانيا لنقاش احتياجات المجتمع الفلسطيني فيما يخص المدن الذكية. استعرضت بلدية رام الله نتائج استطلاع قاموا به في هذا الموضوع، وقد ناقش الحاضرون النتائج وأهميتها بتحديد الاحتياجات. كانت التوصية هي بعقد استبيان مبني على الموجود حاليا ويركز أكثر في المجالات التكنولوجية واحتياجات فلسطين لها في مجال دعم خدمات المدن الذكية.
